2024 – Present
As part of Dr. Wissam Kontar's research team at the Civil & Environmental Engineering Department and Nebraska Transportation Center, I focus on advanced research methodologies and technologies to address contemporary challenges in transportation engineering, particularly in automated vehicles. As a teaching assistant, I supported CIVE 202 – Civil Engineering Analysis II, a project-based programming course, and CIVE 361 – Principles of Transportation Engineering, covering highway design, traffic operations, and planning.
2019 – 2023
2013 – 2019
At TrafQuest, I led over 100 projects across the UAE and MENA region, including transportation master plans, traffic impact studies, and multimodal integration initiatives. My work involved forecasting demand, analyzing traffic operations, evaluating multimodal connectivity, simulating conditions with advanced tools, and preparing technical reports. I managed projects spanning master plans, traffic impact studies, freight transport, parking, and evacuation planning. I was project manager for most of these efforts, ensuring sustainability and feasibility in all delivered solutions.
2011 – 2013
2012 – 2013
My research work focused on data collection, experiments, statistical analyses, and writing technical reports and research articles in areas such as traffic operations optimization, highway material performance, and waste management. As a teaching assistant, I supported courses and labs including Surveying, Highway Materials, and Engineering Statics, contributing to both academic instruction and laboratory supervision.
